What is the difference between a repaired and a re-manufactured pallet?

Repairing is required when the used pallet suffers excessive wear and tear. When this is the cause some deck boards may need to be replaced, stringers reinforced, and nails may have to be added. Re-manufactured pallets take parts from recycled pallets and combines them with new lumber creating a more cost effective pallet.

Does Buffalo Southern make custom pallets?

Yes! We can build any size, shape, and style pallet to meet your needs. Build to your specifications we can build it.

What is the difference between an A and B grade recycled pallets?

A-grade pallets are slightly used and have little wear on them. B-grades are used primarily for warehousing or shipping where it is likely the pallet will not be coming back. Many times B-grades have been repaired is some way.

What are the most important factors to consider when buying pallets?

One pallets does not fit all applications. Before buying pallets from any supplier, consider the following: shipping destination, weight of products, life expectancy of pallet, equipment compatibility, and your pallet management needs
